However, the microparticles settle in every household or public building. With Pure Air, Mursall Active Coating GmbH has developed a coating that improves the air quality of interiors by means of the photocatalytic active coating system for windows and glass surfaces.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"contentimg\">\n<p>The microparticles are bound and rendered harmless by the active coating system and with the help of light and oxygen from the air. If these small particles hit the specially treated glass pane, there is a photocatalytic reaction that kills 80 percent of all viruses, bacteria and mold spores within 90 minutes, the message says. Despite their great diversity, all types of microorganisms are sensitive to the photodynamic, biocidal effect. They can then simply be wiped away or vacuumed off. Applied very thinly on the old or new window, Pure Air connects directly to the glass surface and is active 24 hours a day. The newly researched coating also removes unpleasant smells, is colorless and does not require any energy &#8211; except that of sunlight or an artificial light source. 1,000 lux are sufficient for this. The environmental impact is therefore zero, the company says.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application in many areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An advantage that, among other things, hotels or clinics take advantage of. The invisible protective sheath is also used in the mobility industry as well as on buses and trains. Window manufacturers who work hand in hand with the construction industry also benefit from the innovative active coating system. The system is now available to every window manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Binds fine dust particles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to naturally occurring biogenic aerosols such as bacteria and viruses, fine dust is also largely responsible for health risks. Where the EU Air Quality Directive cannot yet protect its citizens there, the Active Coating System can be the solution to eliminate indoor pollutants and offer continuous protection.
